CAUSE DESCRIPTION
This project offers education programs, courses and community sessions for all ages! Each program focuses on engaging participants to help conserve our environment and promote awareness in the community towards environmental issues and ways each of us can help to protect it. O.C.E.A.N Education (Ocean, Conservation & Education of Animals & Nature) Programs for schools complement Australian school curriculum and engages students to learn and connect with and care for the natural environment. We offer community education programs and presentations. Participants in our community education programs, learn how to identify different kinds of dolphin species in their area, the basics of all cetacean biology and ecology, conservation issues and how to help conservation efforts. We also have a colourful and informative community education stall that we travel with to different events in South East Queensland and the Northern New South Wales region.
